Nathan was 11 years old when he drowned on a school swimming trip
on the 12th of july 2004.there was only 5 children in the pool and 7 adults supervising yet a child found him on the bottom of the pool, nothing was found medically wrong with him. we still are waiting for answers as to how our perfectly healthy son can go to school and not return
so far following Nathans death 34 school pools were shut down Bucks county council and Soll leisure who run Thame leisure centre recieved improvement orders for numerous failings
he was a very warm hearted and fun loving boy and will be sadly
missed by brothers and sisters. Luke jo Damon Josh and Paige
and all who knew him

We'll only remember the good things
Like the day when our baby was born.
How he filled all our lives with such pleasure,
Never knowing that now we would mourn.
We'll only remember the good days,
Like the day when he ran to our arms
And he flashed his big smile so endearing
And displayed his unique baby charms.
We'll only remember the good things
Like the presents he wrapped with his love
And presented his heart to his parents
Like a gift straight from heaven above.
We'll only remember the fun times
When our family would gather as one,
And our laughter would fill all our household
At the antics of him, our dear Son.
So today though we mourn at his passing
And we wipe sorrow's tears from our eyes,
We'll remember this Son whom God gave us
And brought so much joy to our lives.

What kind of place would heaven be with all its streets of gold, if all the souls, that dwell up there like yours and mine, were old? How strange would heaven’s music sound when harps begin to ring, if children were not gathered ‘round to help the angels sing. The children that God sends to us are only just a loan, He knows we need their sunshine to make the house a home. We need the inspiration of a baby’s blessed smile. He doesn’t say they’ve come to stay, just lends them for a while. Sometimes it takes them years to do the work for which they come. Sometimes in just a month or two our Father calls them home. I like to think some souls up there bear not one sinful scar. I love to think of heaven as a place where children are.

Nate you were the best mate anyone could of had, i miss you so much, you were the best at footie, you always made us laugh, will never forget you mate, and will never let anyone forget the lies they have told, put my flowers at the school with your families, i hope all those teachers and pool staff remeber, how they robbed you of your life and lied about it true friends of yours will always remind them of what they have done, rest in peace mate always x

All our love and support, to you at this hard time of year,as always we are all thinking of Nathan, and the terrible way he was taken, all of us knew from day one this was covered up, the only good thing for the school was the children were leaving, so therefor it was easier to cover up, none of us would have put our children on that trip nad we have known, that this lifeguard was not qualified, the only good thing is guilt has played a part on some of them. as most involved have left the school, and so they should have, its just sad they didnt have the decency to tell the truth, nathans death will always remain in their hands. keep fighting we are all with you, god bless Nathan and you all the truth will catch up with them in the end x

what sort of pool operates with unqualified unregistered lifeguards, do these people have no morals, and what of the teachers shame on them all, i saw the inquest the coroner needs drowning as this whole thing was fixed from the start careers mean more than a childs life, they have to live with Nathans blood on their hands god bless xxx
4 years on ...
Its been four years and still it dosn't get any easier, nothings been the same since you were taken away from us. You were the best friend anybody could wish to have, you made people laugh when they were sad, brought a smile to somebodys face when they thought the day wasn't going to get any better, and of course you were the best at football!
Not a day goes past when I don't think about you, you are missed so much!
People try and cover up the truth, tell lies to take away the guilt they feel over what they put you through, but all your friends and family are here to remind them of what they did ... we will NEVER let you be forgotton!
